This is the musical equivalent of Tantalum, the heaviest metal on the periodic chart, with beams of light cascading around it. Punishing yet uplifting, the intertia is broken up by solemn melancholy, only to break loose into galloping chaos. A perfect arc of dark beauty. How do these guys keep elevating their output? Never disappointing, this is my favorite of their discography.
